Join us to honor and preserve our vibrant community heritage.
The Historic Carver Village neighborhood, established in the 1940s, stands as a vibrant testament to resilience, culture, and community pride. Originally created to house Black veterans returning from World War II, it became a beacon of opportunity and unity in Savannah. The annual Carver Village Neighborhood Reunion is more than a celebration—it's a tribute to the neighborhood's rich history and a time for families, friends, and former residents to reconnect, honor their shared heritage, and preserve a legacy of strength and belonging for future generations.
Reunion Planning Committee Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to community enrichment.
